Rich Kerian
Senior Vice President, Product Development and Support
With more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Rich Kerian oversees the development, quality management and customer support functions for TriZetto's commercial software products. Kerian oversees a team of more than 500 people in TriZetto's major development centers and its hosting center. Prior to TriZetto's acquisition of Erisco Managed Care Technologies, Inc., in 2000, Kerian played a key role in establishing Erisco as a market leader in the payer administration systems market. He also has helped break new ground in developing numerous system solutions for the payer industry. Before joining Erisco, Kerian worked in the IT department at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, advancing from systems analyst to project leader, developing enterprise-class claims processing systems. He previously worked in sales at IBM. Kerian holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
