Jake Sorg
Senior Vice President, Consulting Services
Jake Sorg brings extensive consulting leadership and expertise to TriZetto, where he is accountable for driving quality, success and customer satisfaction for consulting engagements. Before joining TriZetto, Sorg was an executive with Cerner Corp., where he led the company’s Mid America region, with responsibility for all sales, customer service and consulting activities for the 11-state region. He also was Cerner’s vice president of consulting—national practices, leading the teams that developed and executed new delivery models for implementing Cerner solutions, upgrading clients’ systems and optimizing their utilization of these solutions. Sorg also held a series of executive positions in companies ranging from a start-up IT company serving the medical clinic market to a computer system manufacturing business. Earlier in his career, Sorg was a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, serving as a surface warfare officer. He served for six years on active duty and was honorably discharged. Sorg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
